The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, FMV, has signed an agreement worth approximately SEK 390 million with GKN Aerospace. The agreement covers concept studies, technology development and demonstrator activities for future Swedish combat aircraft systems.
The work will continue until 2028 and forms part of the "Vägval stridsflyg” programme. The programme is intended to provide a basis for decisions on how Sweden’s combat aircraft capability should be maintained after 2040.
